3 Tasty Cocktails for this Holiday Season!

‘Tis the season which means we are plowing full steam ahead into a flurry of cocktail parties!  If you plan to be the hostess with the mostest, your cocktail game must be on point.

Here are three yummy cocktails to add to your offerings this holiday season.  …and don’t forget to select fun glassware to show off the drink and serve with a special napkin.  A thoughtful presentation makes all the difference!

Earl Grey-Bourbon Punch

You don’t have to be a bourbon lover to enjoy this one!  Steeped Earl Grey tea, mixed with a honey, rosemary, thyme syrup and orange bitters, garnished with a lemon slice and sprig of rosemary…this one is at the top of my list!  It’s light yet comforting and has an incredible aroma.  We made it on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and will whip it up again here in the next few weeks.  We served it chilled, as directed, but think it would also be fantastic served warm!

Elderflower White Cosmopolitan

This is a sleek and sexy alternative to Earl Grey-Bourbon Punch.  Vodka, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, white cranberry and lemon juices finished with an edible flower.  It is oh-so-delicate but have more than one or two of these and you’ll be singing “Santa Baby” to every guest at your party!  We served these at The Grand Hall at Power and Light’s grand opening party earlier this month and they were a hit.

Rosemary Collins

Last but not least, the Rosemary Collins.  With only gin, simple syrup, lemon juice, and club soda, this drink is sure to delight and is a breeze to whip up.  Garnish with a spring of rosemary and you will have many happy guests!
